Important: By using ServerCrate, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
ServerCrate provides private encrypted offsite backup services, including account access, storage provisioning, vault management, and related backup tooling and support.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, password, two-factor authentication settings, and any recovery or encryption credentials associated with your vault.
You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it current.
You are responsible for the data you upload and for keeping your encryption password, token, and any recovery information secure.
We do not store your encryption key. If you lose the credentials required to decrypt your backup data, your backups may be permanently unrecoverable.
You may not use ServerCrate to store, transmit, or facilitate:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing until canceled.
Unless otherwise stated, paid plans include a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time purchases. Abuse of refund requests may result in denial.
You may cancel at any time. Your service remains active through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
After cancellation or non-payment, your vault and related data may be scheduled for suspension and deletion according to our internal retention process.
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect uptime, or that the service will always be error-free.
Maintenance, upstream failures, abuse incidents, or infrastructure problems may affect availability.
ServerCrate is designed to help you run encrypted offsite backups, but you are responsible for:
A backup you never test is not a real backup.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ServerCrate is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, or data arising from use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ServerCrate in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, create risk for our infrastructure, fail to pay, or use the platform unlawfully.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ServerCrate after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
